RN Registered Nurse

As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare education as needed. Employment Type

This is a PRN role. A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 7:00am to 3:30pm or 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Less than two years of experience, but post orientation/90‑day probationary period considered with the Chief Nursing Officer approval for internal applicants OR military RN experience
• Two years of recent related ICU/ED experience for external applicants
• Critical Care Course or validated OJT
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within one year of hire
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC - adult) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC - pediatric) upon or within 24 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Physical Requirements

• Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye‑hand coordination.
• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
• Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
• Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
• Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Personal Protective Equipment

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $41.00
Maximum hourly: $41.00
