Cortland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dynamic and creative Activity Leader to develop and implement recreational activities for our residents. As an integral member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting socialization, engagement, and overall well-being among our residents. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement recreational programs such as music, games, and entertainment, including setup and cleanup
• Conduct other programs such as cooking classes and arts and crafts
• Maintain resident participant lists for programs like patio picnics, trips, and outings
• Encourage residents to participate in daily activities and assist with individual leisure pursuits
• Decorate the unit to create a welcoming environment
• Acknowledge individual resident birthdays with a card, balloons, and visit

Requirements:

• Must be energetic, creative, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
