Aurum Wireless is hiring outgoing, ambitious people to represent leading wireless carriers inside high-traffic Walmart locations.

This is an active sales position. You will not wait behind a counter for customers to approach you. You will start conversations with shoppers, identify opportunities and help customers take advantage of wireless promotions available at the location.

No wireless experience is required. We provide paid training, ongoing coaching and a clear advancement path into Store Lead, Multi-Unit Leadership and Market Director positions.

Compensation

Starting pay of $17 per hour

Performance-based hourly rate increases up to $30 per hour

Your hourly rate increases based on your weekly qualifying sales performance. Strong performers have the ability to increase their earnings quickly without waiting for an annual review.

Schedule

Our stores operate four days per week and are closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Approximately 15-25 paid hours per week

Four scheduled days per week

One 4.5-hour opening or closing shift each operating day

Thursday through Sunday availability required

Weekend availability is required

Thursday in office meeting required in Roseville MN.

What You’ll Do

Professionally approach and engage customers inside the store

Ask questions about customers’ current phones, carriers and wireless needs

Explain available AT&T or Verizon promotions, depending on location

Recommend wireless plans, devices and connected products

Help customers complete qualification and activation

Clearly explain pricing, trade-ins, promotions, credits and first-bill expectations

Follow up with customers after activation

Maintain accurate sales and customer documentation

Follow Aurum’s Respectful Engagement Standard

Participate in daily team meetings, training and sales competitions

Work with your Store Lead to achieve individual and store goals

What We’re Looking For

Dependable and able to maintain a consistent schedule

Confident communicating with customers

Interested in developing leadership and management skills

Available Thursday through Monday, including weekends

Able to pass required background screening

At least 18 years old

Previous experience in wireless, retail, hospitality, customer service, fundraising, canvassing or commission sales is helpful but not required.
