Job Description
Registered Nurse - Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum

Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend coverage required every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Expect to float to similar acuity units as needed. Orientation lasts 36 hours.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of postpartum experience
• BLS certification required
• IV certification required
• Experience with IV starts and labor & delivery preferred
• EPIC experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive postpartum care for mothers and newborns
• Administer medications and IV therapies as needed
• Conduct assessments and educate parents about infant care
• Assist with breastfeeding and promote couplet care
• Monitor and manage patient pain and recovery following delivery
