You’ll work at the Transitions Center, supporting 18- to 21-year-old students in developing job readiness and independence skills. The position encourages collaboration within a supportive team, fostering your growth as an educator while you impact lives in meaningful ways.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (required)
• Valid or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license (must provide proof with resume)
• Minimum of one year classroom experience
• Flexible, collaborative, and eager to participate as a team player

Responsibilities:

• Teach job readiness and independence skills to students ages 18-21
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
• Conduct data collection and ensure compliance with IEP requirements
• Provide instruction in both classroom and community environments
• Maintain a caseload of 12 students
