About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:10) Experience: Minimum 2 years in Operating Room with specific experience in Urology, Gynecology/Oncology, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, robotic surgery, and ortho trauma. License: Active RN License required; pending licensure accepted with submission. Certifications: BLS required (AHA only). Must-Have: Experience with the Da Vinci Xi surgical system. Experience in performing abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies, nephrectomies, cystectomies, and other specified procedures. Description: The position requires day shifts of 12 hours, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Holidays that fall on a weekend will align with the scheduled shift. No on-call duty is required. The role includes surgical tasks in the operating room featuring advanced robotic surgical equipment. The ideal candidate will manage a range of surgical procedures including kidney transplant, hysterectomy, nephrectomy, and others. Experience in urological and gynecological robotics is essential. Strong management skills, including previous charge experience, are preferred. The candidate must be adept in various surgical procedures and demonstrate a commitment to safety and infection control protocols. Comprehensive knowledge of patient care across diverse age groups is necessary.
