NOW HIRING | Ambulatory Medication Access/Referral CoordinatorAll candidates should make sure to read the following job description and information carefully before applying.Are you a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with ambulatory or specialty pharmacy experience looking to make a meaningful impact on patient care?Prime Healthcare - St. Francis Hospital is seeking an Ambulatory Medication Access/Referral Coordinator to join our Ambulatory Pharmacy team in Evanston, ILFacility: St. Francis HospitalLocation: Evanston, IL 60201Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMIn this role, you'll be instrumental in helping patients gain access to essential medications and specialty services by partnering with providers, pharmacies, insurance companies, and patients to navigate prior authorizations, referrals, financial assistance programs, and medication access barriers.What We're Looking For: Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician License in good standing Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential 3+ years of experience in ambulatory care, specialty pharmacy, or 340B environments Experience with specialty pharmacy and insurance authorization processes Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans Exceptional communication, organizational, and patient advocacy skillsBonus Points For: Experience with pharmaceutical assistance programs and copay enrollment Knowledge of 340B drug pricing program guidelines Experience coordinating patient outreach and scheduling in a high-volume clinical settingIf you're passionate about improving patient access to care and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we want to hear from you!
