Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C) - Dermatology - Issaquah

Job Overview We are looking for a Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C) to support dermatology providers at Swedish Health Services DBA Swedish Medical Group in Issaquah, WA. The role focuses on delivering exceptional skin‑care services, guiding patients, and assisting with clinical tasks to enhance the patient experience. Responsibilities Assist licensed practitioners under delegation to provide patient care in a dermatology setting. Perform all duties of an MA I and further clinical responsibilities suitable for an MA II. Support providers, guide patients, and ensure a seamless, supportive experience from routine screenings to specialized dermatologic procedures. Adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulations in all clinical functions. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited medical‑assistant training program that includes hands‑on clinical training. Graduate of a registered medical‑assistant apprenticeship program. Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces. Minimum one year of medical‑assistant work experience that includes obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration. Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification. Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association). Six months of healthcare experience. Six months of medical‑assistant experience. Preferred Qualifications Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification.
