As an unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to shoppers and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site leadership and first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures. Support a welcoming retail environment by assisting with directions, escort requests, and other customer service needs. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
