Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 3x12 (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend | Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to adult patients in an inpatient setting
• Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilators
• Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license or certification valid in Nebraska
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Demonstrated experience with mechanical ventilators and adult patient populations
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a local rate for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute care or inpatient hospital environment
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in high-acuity situations
