Casino Cage Cashier

Overview The Casino Cage Cashier is responsible for handling large volumes of cash and negotiable instruments in a secure, accurate, and professional manner. This role ensures exceptional guest service while maintaining strict compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and company policies. Responsibilities Process cash transactions including chip redemption, check cashing, credit/debit transactions, and cash advances Exchange gaming chips and tokens for cash Verify and balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift Accurately document and record all transactions in accordance with internal controls Maintain compliance with gaming regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) procedures, and Title 31 requirements Identify and report suspicious activity to supervisors Provide courteous and professional service to guests at all times Assist with issuing and redeeming casino markers Maintain confidentiality of guest financial information Work collaboratively with security and surveillance teams to ensure a safe environment Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous cash handling experience (banking, retail, or casino preferred) Strong mathematical and basic accounting skills High level of integrity and attention to detail Ability to pass background check and obtain required gaming license Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a casino cage or banking environment Familiarity with Title 31 and AML compliance procedures Experience using casino management systems Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to remain calm under pressure High degree of accuracy and accountability Team-oriented mindset Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Manual dexterity for handling cash, chips, and documentation Exposure to secondhand smoke High-security, highly regulated setting #J-18808-Ljbffr
