Comprehensive OphthalmologistWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our growing practice in San Luis Obispo, CA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality eye care services, including medical and surgical treatment of a wide range of ocular conditions. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment with state-of-the-art technology and a dedicated team.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular diseases and conditions.Provide medical and surgical treatment for a variety of eye disorders including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and other anterior and posterior segment diseases.Develop individualized treatment plans and manage patient care effectively.Collaborate with optometrists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology and participate in continuing education.Educate patients and their families about eye health, treatment options, and preventive care.QualificationsMedical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency program.Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.Valid California medical license or eligibility to obtain one.Proven experience in comprehensive ophthalmology, including surgical skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.Work EnvironmentPacific Eye Surgeons is a group of honest, ethical and bright physicians focused on providing the highest quality of care to our patients.
