Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU travel position in California, requiring active CA licensure, at least 1 year of Neuro ICU experience, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Neuro ICU setting within a hospital environment
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• May float to the ED, Step Down Unit, or Central Monitoring Department
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 year of Neuro ICU experience required, which must be reflected on your application
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 supervisory references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates who previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for this assignment
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
