Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Contract Opportunity

Step into a contract opportunity supporting a student one-on-one as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within a dynamic educational environment. Your primary responsibility will be providing expert care to a student with trach and ventilator needs throughout each school day, ensuring not only their safety but their access to a positive and inclusive learning experience. This full-time, onsite position offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, spanning the entire school year from September through June.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, hands-on nursing care for a student with trach and vent support needs in a school setting
• Monitor and maintain all necessary medical equipment during school hours
• Collaborate closely with school staff, families, and medical professionals to meet the students care plan
• Document care and communicate pertinent health-related information as required by school policies
• Respond promptly to urgent or emergent health events with professionalism and skill

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN license issued by the state of Pennsylvania
• Familiarity and demonstrated competence with trach and vent management
• Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to supporting students educational access
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities
