Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Clinical Supervisor

Position Overview: The Medical Surgical Supervisor oversees inpatient nursing operations on the night shift, ensuring high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate nursing staff in a Medical Surgical unit. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing team members. Facilitate effective communication among staff and other departments. Monitor patient care quality and implement improvements as needed. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Current RN license in Missouri or valid compact license. 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with completion within 30 days if not already held. Preferred: BSN, management experience, additional certifications, and specialty licensure. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing, walking, and mobility tasks. Key Duties Lead nursing staff during night shifts. Maintain high standards of patient care and safety. Assist in staff development and performance management.
