Step into a vital role supporting student success as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational environment near Valparaiso, IN. Two contract SLP opportunities are available for the upcoming school year, each with unique student populations and collaboration potential. Candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are preferred, and there are no SLPA positions available at this time.

What you’ll bring:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Indiana SLP Licensure (or eligibility in process)
• CCC from ASHA preferred
• Previous school-based SLP experience and familiarity with diverse student caseloads
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Collaborative, flexible approach and commitment to student-centered therapy

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to K–8 students, according to IEPs and educational goals
• Conducting evaluations, developing intervention plans, and managing ongoing progress reporting
• Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
• Maintaining accurate records and compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
• Participating in IEP meetings and helping foster inclusive school communities

Choose between multiple engaging assignments:

• Fegley Intermediate & Crisman Elementary: Serve approximately 100 students with open discussion on SLP Assistant support
• Porter Lakes Elementary: Focus on developmental preschool, kindergarten, and 1st grade caseload
• Split site between Porter Lakes (grades 2–3), Boone Grove Elementary (grades 4–5), and Boone Grove Middle (grades 6–8)
