Job Description The Ares Corporate Communications team is seeking an experienced writer, editor and content strategist with experience in journalism, content strategy and video production. The Communications team is responsible for strategic planning and execution of external, internal and digital communications efforts across Ares’ global platform. Within Ares, the team works closely with a range of internal partners, including senior leadership, investment professionals, legal and compliance. Primary Functions & Essential Responsibilities Define and oversee the production and execution of the firm’s global editorial calendar, identifying key trends across the asset classes in which Ares invests to produce compelling materials that showcase our expertise Design and produce engaging, high-quality written, audio, and video content, working both independently and in partnership with teams across the Ares platform Partner with Ares Digital/Social Media, Website and Creative Solutions teams—and external resources where needed—to bring content to life through dynamic media that can be distributed across relevant Ares channels Manage any external resources required to execute on content production Manage content-approvals (Legal, Compliance, leadership) and distribution processes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (a liberal arts major from a top university) At least 7-10 years of relevant experience. Experience working at an alternatives investment manager or bank, newsroom or production company, a plus.
