About the Position

Job Title: RN CVOR Profession: Nursing Specialty: Nursing Administration Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: - Open heart experience - Robotics experience - Vascular experience - Thoracic experience - Hybrid OR experience preferred Description: Level 1 Trauma Center with a Level II NICU. Teach hospital with Magnet Designation. 273 total beds with 12 dedicated for general information. Patient types include CVT, cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and Level 1 trauma. Patient ratios are 1:1. Support available on the unit includes a charge nurse without patient assignment, a transport team, anesthesia (CRNA), and radiology. OR leadership is provided. Experience with EPIC charting system required. Equipment includes Alaris IV pump, Pyxis, Jackson table, Wilson frame, and Davinci SI. Scheduling involves 12 days of call per month. Holiday expectations require working if scheduled.
