Field installation technician

job summary:
Our client a leader in the comprehensive hub for construction technology is looking for a field install technician. Key qualifications include, 1+ yeas of technical experience training in electronics, mechanics, construction technology, surveying, GPS systems, or a related field. Experience with Leica, Trimble, Topcon, or other GPS/machine control construction systems is preferred.

• Heavy Equipment & Field Expertise: mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in heavy/construction machinery, GPS, machine control, or surveying systems.

• Electrical & Technology Skills: Proficient in basic electrical troubleshooting (wiring, sensors, cables) and comfortable using diagnostic software, computers, and tablets.

• Problem-Solving & Technical Reading: Skilled at reading technical manuals and schematics to systematically diagnose and fix issues on active job sites.

• Customer Support & Communication: Professional interpersonal skills tailored for guiding and supporting clients directly in field environments.

• Independence & Travel Readiness: Possesses a valid driver's license, a willingness to travel regularly, and the self-reliance to adapt to changing field conditions.
