This is more than a technology leadership position—it's an opportunity to shape the future data strategy of a growing enterprise. You'll have executive visibility, influence technology direction, lead modernization initiatives, and help build the foundation that powers analytics, AI, and data-driven decision making for years to come. What You’ll Be Driving As the leader of the enterprise data platform, you will: Define and execute the long‑term strategy for a scalable, secure, cloud‑first data platform. Modernize legacy data environments into a unified architecture supporting analytics, AI, and business intelligence. Lead the design and delivery of enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, streaming, and real‑time data solutions. Ensure exceptional platform performance, availability, governance, and data quality. Partner with business and technology leaders across Finance, Risk, Operations, HR, Audit, and IT to deliver enterprise data capabilities. Champion modern engineering practices, Agile delivery, Infrastructure as Code, and automation. Build and mentor a high‑performing team of Data Engineers, BI Engineers, Database Administrators, and Platform Specialists. Manage technology investments, vendor partnerships, and departmental budgets while maximizing business value. Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence across the data organization. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a strategic technology leader who combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen. Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 10+ years of progressive IT experience with modern enterprise data platform. 5+ years leading technical teams at the Senior Manager level or above. Proven experience designing and managing enterprise‑scale cloud data platforms. Technical Enterprise Databricks Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Apache Kafka or Confluent Apache Airflow or similar orchestration platform PowerBI Python MLOps Identity & Access Management (IAM) Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC) Zero Trust Architecture Enterprise data governance and security Success in This Role Thinks strategically while remaining technically credible. Enjoys building and developing exceptional engineering teams. Communicates effectively with both executive leadership and technical staff. Thrives in fast‑paced, evolving environments. Has a passion for innovation, modern cloud technologies, and continuous improvements.
