Sales Associate/ Sales Representative

• $21.78/hour • Temp-to-Hire

About This Opportunity

Seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Associate to join their growing team in Omaha. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, working independently, and developing new business opportunities within the construction and equipment industry.

The Sales Associate will manage existing customer accounts while also prospecting for new business throughout the Omaha metro area. Responsibilities include conducting customer visits, preparing bids and proposals, measuring spaces for shelving and storage installations, and maintaining strong communication with clients throughout the sales process.

This is a hands-on outside sales role that requires travel to customer job sites using a personal vehicle. Candidates with prior sales experience and a construction or industrial background are strongly preferred.

Bonus Opportunity

• $350 Attendance Bonus for perfect attendance during the first 30 days

Assignment Details

Pay : $21.78/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM- 5:00PM (Occasional Weekends)

Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Pre Employment Requirements

• Drug Screen Required
• Background Check Required
• Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Client Interview Required
• Valid Driver’s License Required/ Insurance

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships
• Prospect for new business and generate leads
• Conduct onsite visits and customer meetings
• Prepare quotes and proposals
• Measure spaces and prepare bids for shelving/storage systems
• Maintain customer records and sales activity
• Travel to customer/job sites within Omaha metro area

Work Environment and Dress Code

• Polo Shirt/Nice Jeans
• Work Boots

• Some sales experience preferred
• Construction background strongly preferred
• Ability to understand measurements and bid calculations
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Skills

• B2B sales experience
• Mechanical aptitude/equipment knowledge
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• CRM/Microsoft Office experience

Commission Structure:

• $3,500/month draw after rollover for first 6-9 months
• Additional commission earned above draw
• Commission based on gross profit of sales
