This facility maintains more than 30 pediatric ICU beds with a dedicated pediatric cardiac intensive care unit, supporting a low-volume pediatric cardiothoracic surgery program. The facility is structured to accommodate on-site locum tenens clinicians operating across inpatient and OR settings with established call coverage protocols. Advanced practice providers serve as first call, providing structured support throughout each coverage period.

Florida offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests, including aquariums, wildlife cruises near Marco Island and the Ten Thousand Islands, and nature preserves for outdoor exploration. The state features golf courses and several destinations with free admission, from museums to wildlife experiences, providing accessible options for those mindful of budget. Paid experiences such as hop-on hop-off bus tours, aquarium visits, and space-related attractions are also available across the state.

Clinicians will provide pediatric cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient and OR settings on a combination of day shifts and 24-hour shifts, following a 7-on/7-off schedule beginning as soon as possible. APPs take first call, with a call ratio of 1:2. Experience in pediatric surgery and pediatric cardiac care is required for this on-site locum tenens assignment. Prescriptive authority is required for this position.
