We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for a role at Alpha Property Management's managed apartment complex, located in Saint Louis, MO. Alpha Property Management manages approximately 2500 units of conventional and affordable multifamily housing throughout the Unites States and Puerto Rico.

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician conducts general maintenance and repairs, and is responsible for the upkeep of the facility. Duties include completing work orders, inspecting and maintaining the physical aspects of the property and units, maintaining inventory, and scheduling and completing repairs.

Qualifications:

• At least three years of previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Valid Missouri Driver’s License and auto insurance is preferred
• Ability to handle physical workload, and familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
• Prior maintenance experience in Multi-Family Housing is a plus
• Having own vehicle (truck preferred)
• Must have own tools
• Skills in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting and drywall
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus
• HVAC Certification is a plus

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Perform unit turnovers, including all preparation work
• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Maintain a clean property
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain material and supply inventory and equipment
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Additional duties as assigned verbally or in writing
