Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Stockton, CAPosition Summary

We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a well-established outpatient cardiology practice in Stockton, CA . This opportunity offers the chance to work alongside experienced physicians in a collaborative, patient-focused environment while providing care for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiology conditions.

• Perform comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.

• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic studies.

• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.

• Prescribe and furnish medications in accordance with standardized procedures.

• Coordinate hospital admissions, discharges, and follow-up care.

• Perform designated clinical procedures after demonstrating competency.

• Recognize urgent clinical situations and initiate appropriate interventions.

• Assist with patient education, telephone triage, anticoagulation management, and diagnostic procedures as needed.

• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.

• Active California PA or NP license.

• Current ACLS certification.

• California Furnishing Number (required for experienced NPs).

• DEA registration (Schedule II-V).

• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 annually (DOE) + performance bonus
