Lead Data Engineer

Job Title: Lead Data Engineer Location: Remote & hybrid, alternating weeks at the nearest office Duration: 4 months+ contract Number of Positions: 2 roles Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and support scalable ETL pipelines, data integration processes, and database solutions using modern data engineering technologies.

Collaborate within Agile/SCRUM teams to deliver high-quality, business-focused technology solutions across the Prime Services domain.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production and non-production environments to ensure system reliability and performance.

Research and implement emerging technologies and best practices to simplify and enhance the enterprise data ecosystem.

Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solutions that align with enterprise technology standards and strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.

Strong experience with Snowflake, advanced SQL, data modeling, database design, and performance optimization.

Hands-on expertise with ETL and streaming technologies such as Informatica, SnapLogic, Kafka, or comparable platforms.

Proficiency in Python and/or Java development, with experience building cloud-based data solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy), and exposure to AI/ML, API development, or BI/Analytics tools is preferred.
