Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing their medical history and administering specific assessments to devise personalized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment objectives clearly to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goal-setting and care decisions.
• Implement treatment protocols that reflect the latest evidence-based practices while addressing the individual needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated treatment approaches and ensure cohesive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and maintain accurate documentation of results and interventions.
• Participate in ongoing education initiatives both personally and as a mentor to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric populations, presenting various musculoskeletal issues, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, and chronic pain management requirements. As a Physical Therapist here, you'll be pivotal in supporting individuals to regain mobility, enhance their physical function, and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Licensure to practice as a physical therapist in Virginia.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Experience working with patients suffering from scoliosis or complex spinal disorders is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
