Job Description
Title: Outpatient Hematology RN - Ambulatory Clinic

Schedule: 5x8 (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience required
- Preferred oncology clinic experience; will consider acute oncology/hematology experience
- BCLS/BLS certification required
- Experience with EPIC charting system required
- Preferred: ONS, BMTCN, OCN certifications
- Experience in phone triage and scheduling coordination
- Skills in phlebotomy and central line care

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform clinic nursing assessments and patient education
- Assist with bone marrow biopsy procedures
- Manage phone triage and scheduling facilitation for infusions
- Administer vaccinations and conduct EKGs
- Room patients and provide case management support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including social work and pharmacy

Compliance / Notes:
- Scrubs: Navy blue expected
- Orientation: Confirm with manager
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required; Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only)
