Introduction Our client is an emergency and critical care veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. The hospital provides comprehensive medical care for cats and dogs, delivering a wide range of services from urgent care to advanced diagnostics and critical treatment. Working Hours / Rota The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and provides 24/7 care from Friday through Sunday. The team offers flexible scheduling with both full-time and part-time options available, creating a rota designed to promote wellness and a healthy work-life balance. Role Description and Responsibilities As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive patient care across a varied caseload, including emergency and critical care cases. Responsibilities include performing thorough examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing treatment plans, and maintaining strong communication with pet owners. You will also educate clients on treatment options and preventative care while working collaboratively with the support team to deliver excellent patient outcomes. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with support and mentorship available to help you develop your clinical skills and grow your career. Practice Details The hospital is equipped with advanced medical technology to support high-quality diagnostics and treatment, including an on-site laboratory, digital radiography, ventilator, endoscopy, cardiovascular ultrasound, and electrosurgical equipment. Services offered range from emergency and critical care to diagnostic imaging, ultrasonography, and in-house laboratory testing, allowing veterinarians to manage complex cases efficiently.
