URGENT: Housekeeper Wanted - Bluffton Home Manager Position

We are Alan & Flo Spachman and we live much of the year in our Bluffton, SC home. We also have a home in South Florida. We are healthy seniors and are looking for someone to assist us with the requirements of maintaining our home. This includes general housekeeping, laundry services, running errands, some food shopping, supervising vendors (landscaper, pool service, trades people), light maintenance (such as changing light bulbs and air filters), caring for house plants, etc. We do not have pets or children living with us. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, position while we are at our home in Bluffton and for much of the year is a part-time "house sittting" position while we are in Florida or traveling. The position is open now. We offer a furnished, one bedroom apartment and provide all utilities, including internet service and cable TV. We provide a car that is available for errands. We will consider allowing our home manager and a spouse/significant other to reside in the apartment which is on the property but separated from the main house. Our apartment provides a quiet work space for a work at home spouse. Living in our apartment is preferred for house sitting purposes but not a requirement. We offer a monthly salary and the salary is negotiable. We provide paid time off and workers' compensation insurance coverage. There are very rare requests for weekend or evening help, and that typically only happens when we have house guests visiting us. The successful candidate will possess a driver's license, have prior housekeeping and laundry experience, agree to a background check and provide personal references. You do not need to be a professional houskeeper to apply for this position. Several years of successful experience maintaining your own home could qualify you for our position.
