Airport Senior Project Manager

Your Impact Design and manage FAA and State DOT aviation projects across a broad client base. Lead project phases including grant facilitation, design, bidding, construction administration, and close‑out to achieve on‑time and on‑budget delivery. Ensure compliance with airport master plans, federal grant assurance requirements, FAA and state design standards, and project scopes. Apply FAA Advisory Circulars for airport design and construction—runways, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons, grading/drainage, and pavement markings. Develop contract specifications and bid estimates. Coordinate engineering design staff and other disciplines to meet objectives. Maintain accurate daily timekeeping. Who You Are Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent. 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience. P.E. preferred or ability to obtain a State P.E. within the first year. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficient knowledge of MS Office and Field navigation systems. Work Environment & Physical Requirements The role involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, and varying noise levels. Physical requirements include intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, stooping, crawling, and lifting light equipment up to 20 pounds. Employees may need to work near hazardous equipment, on uneven ground, and at heights, and may be exposed to dust, gas, fumes, noise, and temperature extremes.
