Security/Loss Prevention Manager

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Security/Loss Prevention Manager to join a client in Fort Worth. This is a full-time, direct hire position. The role is 100% onsite.

The Security/Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for leading and managing the physical security and loss prevention program for a manufacturing facility. This role develops and implements security strategies, policies, procedures, and controls designed to protect employees, visitors, facilities, assets, inventory, and intellectual property.

The Security/Loss Prevention Manager oversees 24/7 site security operations and provides direct oversight of the contracted security provider responsible for office, warehouse, and facility guard coverage. The role is responsible for access control, CCTV and alarm systems, incident response and investigations, risk assessments, emergency preparedness, vendor performance, and security awareness.

This position partners closely with Operations, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Facilities, IT/Information Security, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and other business functions, as well as local law enforcement and emergency services, to maintain a safe and secure manufacturing environment and meet applicable company and customer security requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day site security operations, including contracted security personnel and 24/7 guard coverage.
• Establish performance expectations and monitor security provider performance, staffing levels, post coverage, service levels, and adherence to Post Orders.
• Partner with contracted security provider leadership and Human Resources, as appropriate, to address performance or conduct concerns.
• Ensure security personnel are appropriately trained on site security procedures, emergency response protocols, Post Orders, and applicable company requirements.
• Provide coaching, direction, and ongoing development to individuals supporting the site's security program.
• Manage security vendor relationships and monitor contractual performance, KPIs, service-level expectations, invoicing, and budget compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Security Operations and Program Management | 90%

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the facility's physical security program, policies, standard operating procedures, and Post Orders.
• Oversee security controls and processes including access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion and alarm monitoring, perimeter security, visitor management, employee and contractor access, and key and cylinder control.
• Manage 24/7 security operations, including guard-force coverage, shift requirements, incident escalation, and after-hours security response.
• Serve as the primary site resource for physical security matters and provide leadership during security-related incidents and emergencies.
• Lead or coordinate investigations involving theft, property loss, vandalism, trespassing, workplace violence, unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and other security-related incidents.
• Prepare accurate and timely incident documentation, investigative findings, root-cause analyses, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
• Conduct routine physical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities, emerging risks, and opportunities to strengthen security controls.
• Develop and coordinate appropriate risk-mitigation and corrective-action plans based on assessment and investigation findings.
• Monitor security trends, incidents, and operating data to identify patterns and opportunities for preventive action.
• Oversee the operation and effectiveness of CCTV, electronic access control, intrusion detection, alarms, and other physical security systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment and infrastructure, document deficiencies, and coordinate repairs or corrective actions with Facilities, IT, vendors, or system integrators as appropriate.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training for employees and contractors and ensure contracted security personnel meet required training and competency standards.
• Maintain appropriate security training records and documentation.
• Coordinate and participate in emergency preparedness exercises and security-related drills in partnership with EHS, Facilities, Operations, and other stakeholders.
• Liaise with local law enforcement, fire/emergency services, and other external agencies when required.
• Manage security-related vendors, system integrators, and service providers and ensure contractual obligations and performance expectations are met.
• Manage assigned security budgets, purchases, vendor invoices, and expenditures within established financial authority.
• Prepare reports, metrics, and presentations for management regarding security incidents, risks, trends, investigations, vendor performance, and program effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and timely security records and system data.
• Support applicable customer security requirements, export-control requirements, and site compliance activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in corporate security, physical security, loss prevention, law enforcement, military security, or a related field , including experience leading or supervising security operations.
• Experience managing or overseeing a contracted security/guard-force provider.
• Experience conducting or supporting security investigations and incident response.
• Experience with physical security systems, including electronic access control, CCTV/video surveillance, and alarm systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Valid Texas driver's license.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Emergency Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Security leadership experience within a manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, electronics, aerospace/defense, or other controlled industrial environment.
• Experience supporting customer-specific security requirements and export-controlled or otherwise restricted environments.
• Experience managing security system integrators and CCTV, access-control, or alarm service providers.
• Professional security certification such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) is a plus.
