In this full-time remote position, you will be pivotal in providing therapeutic support to individuals, adolescents, and families seeking mental health assistance through our community health clinic in Vancouver, Washington. Work Environment

Our clinic operates from Monday to Saturday, giving you the flexibility to create and manage your own schedule around your personal and professional commitments. We support you with in-house credentialing and management of insurance participation, ensuring you can focus entirely on delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of individual clients, families, and groups, tailoring therapeutic interventions based on extensive evaluations of client needs.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary care planning by communicating regularly with team members about patient treatment, progress, and intervention strategies, participating in meetings like patient rounds to promote integrated care delivery.
  • Provide case management for a designated caseload, collaborating with healthcare professionals and community resources to enhance patient support systems and improve overall care outcomes.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other appropriate interventions to develop and execute individualized service plans for patients.
  • Maintain ethical standards by ensuring timely completion of all required documentation in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse clientele composed of individuals of varying ages, backgrounds, and mental health conditions. From adolescents grappling with life transitions to adults facing anxiety and depression, you will be integral in helping each patient navigate their unique experiences and foster their emotional resilience. Your expertise will directly influence the quality of care provided in a community health setting, impacting both individual lives and the broader community.

Qualifications

  • A valid mental health license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW issued by the state of Washington is essential.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling is required, demonstrating a solid background in therapeutic practices.
  • Willingness to provide between 10 to 40 therapy sessions per week, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to client care.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in an outpatient setting, particularly within community health clinics, is highly desirable as it aligns with our operational model.
  • Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities beyond CBT and a commitment to ongoing learning in evidence-based practices are encouraged.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, dependent on your experience and credentials.
