Bestica is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to provide service at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and associated Branch Health Clinics (BHCs) and TRICARE Prime Clinics in the Portsmouth, VA region.
Join a mission-focused team in support of active duty military members, veterans, and their families.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, and associated lab support tasks across multiple clinics.

Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–7:00 PM
Some clinics operate weekends and holidays; scheduling varies by location.
- Clinics include Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Yorktown.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a NAACLS-accredited or equivalent two-part phlebotomy training program (≥40 hours classroom, ≥100 hours clinical, ≥100 successful venipuncture procedures).
- Minimum of one year experience (within the last three years) performing venipunctures on diverse patient populations.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA; no web-based courses).
- Basic competency in computer/data entry.
