The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth front desk operations in a busy veterinary practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and provide a welcoming environment.
- Answer phone calls promptly, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Check in and check out patients, collect payments, and process billing accurately.
- Maintain client records and update patient information in the practice management system.
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff to coordinate patient care.
- Handle client inquiries and provide information about services, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and ordering office supplies as needed.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with informational materials.
- Proficient with Cornerstone practice management software strongly required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a veterinary or medical office preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems and practice management software (Cornerstone).
- Compassion for animals and a genuine interest in veterinary care.
