Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
• Engage collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and family members, to develop holistic care plans.
• Provide education for patients and families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout their recovery journey.
• Keep accurate and timely records that comply with relevant healthcare regulations.
• Pursue professional growth through continuing education and collaborative learning with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
