The Environment The Factory Manager operates in a hands‑on, assembly‑driven manufacturing setting where real‑time troubleshooting and floor engagement are essential. Key Focus Areas & What Success Looks Like Success for the Factory Manager includes: Strengthening daily production performance through stable processes, predictable output, and improved resource utilization. Building accountability and alignment across supervisors, engineers, and hourly teams to ensure clear expectations and consistent follow‑through. Reducing operational costs by applying lean principles, optimizing workflow, and eliminating process inefficiencies. Enhancing product quality through improved manufacturing discipline, corrective action rigor, and proactive problem solving. Guiding teams through change by engaging a tenured workforce, improving communication up and down the organization, and fostering ownership at every level. Supporting integration‑related initiatives and modernization efforts that expand capability and improve long‑term operational readiness. Advancing workforce development through coaching, performance management, and effective leadership of a large multilevel team. Manufacturing leadership experience in an assembly‑oriented environment with responsibility for people, processes, and production output. Experience leading supervisors, engineers, and cross‑functional contributors in a high‑mix or technical manufacturing setting. Demonstrated capability in lean methodologies, continuous improvement, and operational problem solving. Hands‑on leadership style with a track record of driving accountability, engaging shop‑floor teams, and improving performance metrics. Experience navigating organizational change, particularly within evolving or growth‑focused manufacturing environments. Effective communication skills supporting collaboration with engineering, supply chain, quality, and executive stakeholders.
