Assistant SupervisorAdvancia Technologies, LLC is seeking a qualified Assistant Supervisor who will provide oversight, and supervision for file operations at a large-volume records facility, and provide a training resource while performing in many of the following tasks:Oversees RMTs to ensure quality and quantity of their workPerforms Quality Control (QC) Reviews in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Properly assigns, monitors and evaluates RMTs to jobs which need to be accomplishedIdentifies, analyzes and solves problems which appear during the work dayCollects, prepares, verifies, records and submits required paperworkPerforms required personnel paperwork, to include (but not limited to) absence slips and accident/injury reports, and performance improvement plans. Provides personnel recommendations to Lead supervisor when solicited.Monitors attendance of assigned RMTs and properly processes required paperwork to verify absences.Uses Employee Guide to assist RMTs in understanding and following policies and proceduresDrafts and edits SOP as neededReceives, prepares for shipment and ships FedExProperly monitors and/or disposes of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in accordance with the SOPPerforms duties as Safety Monitor, identifying, fixing and reporting safety hazards throughout the facility.Understands and complies with Occupant Emergency Plans (OEP).Provides training to RMTs as needed in all aspects of their jobOther duties as assigned by the supervisor or managementWork ScheduleNormal scheduled work week is Monday through FridayPosition may require morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the weekHourly employees: generally scheduled for 40 hours; overtime hours may be required based on the needs of the companyEssential Knowledge, Qualifying SkillsMust have direct experience in large volume records workExcellent interpersonal skills, proficient in written and oral communicationsExcellent character and work habitsStrong problem identification and solving skillsAbility to supervise subordinates with fairness and consistency according to SOPAbility to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, sequencing and knowledge of weights and measuresAbility to communicate and work in team environment, and interact with RMTs, other supervisors, management and SSA/NRC personnelConscientious, detail-oriented and methodical, extremely accurate, with sense of dedicationAbility to work with minimal supervisionPerforms opening and closing proceduresQualification StandardsMust meet standards of Post Offer Essential Functions (POET)Two to three years of experience as a working supervisor preferredHigh School graduate; college a plusRead, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions (Other preferences will be given for special language skills when there is a business need)Applicants must pass pre-employment background check(s) and security clearance and may be rejected if an interview or background check reveals that the applicant has been convicted of a felony or offense against property such as receipt of stolen property, larceny, embezzlement, burglary or similar convictionsPhysical Job RequirementsAbility to move about and cross-train in all areas of the site locationStand and/or sit continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with meal breakAbility to push and pull loaded carts approximately 1 mileFrequent handling of folders.
