Specialty Care RN - Dialysis*

Specialty Care Registered Nurse (Dialysis Unit) Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Specialty Care Registered Nurses who perform a full range of professional nursing duties in the Dialysis Unit . Duties include assessing, planning, evaluating and implementing patient care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and organizational policy, administering medications and treatments, performing documentation and providing education to patients and families. Conditions of Employment Pre-employment Process: Applicants selected must pass a background investigation, drug test, verification of employment history and education. Availability: Twenty-four (24) hour responsibility, weekly on-call is required for positions in Acute Hemodialysis. Certifications: Additional certifications may be required depending on the needs of the department. Candidate Requirements License: Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing. Experience: One (1) year of full-time experience as a licensed registered nurse. Certification: Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and certifications/courses required by the Dialysis Unit: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Vascular or Hemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis course OR Certified Nephrology Nurse or Certified Dialysis Nurse Certification Schedule: Weekly on-call is required for positions in Acute Hemodialysis. Candidates possessing a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and two (2) years of experience in a Dialysis Unit are desired.
