Details Med/Surg unit (7C Med Resp) within a hospital setting Night shift schedule: 7:00PM-7:00AM 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts Rotating weekend and holiday shifts required May float to other Carle Health facilities including Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Pekin Hospital, and Proctor Hospital Requirements Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temp license accepted) Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience ASN required, BSN preferred EPIC charting experience required Level 1 Trauma experience required Additional Information Serves as primary caregiver for an assigned patient group, utilizing the nursing process to plan and deliver care Performs initial patient assessments and develops individualized care plans based on patient and family needs Modifies care plans based on ongoing evaluation and communicates effectively with the healthcare team Reports and corrects safety hazards to ensure patient and employee safety Participates in professional development and departmental competency requirements Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates are not accepted RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract Contingent workers may not be on assignment for more than 1 year at Carle Health without a 6-month break in service before returning American Traveler Job ID P-750940.
