Garage Door Service Technician

Western Industrial Door is looking to expand our service and installation departments. We are looking for a qualified individual that can install commercial and industrial doors from start to finish. We generally work in two-man teams so we can complete jobs in a safe and timely manner. The general schedule for this position is Mon-Fri 7:00 am - 4:30 pm. Travel is sometimes required. When an overnight stay is required, we increase hourly wage 25% per hour, pay daily per diem, and the company pays for the hotel room. Monthly Quality Incentive Bonus. Paid training. Paid Holidays. Applicants will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing doors. This needs to be done correctly, efficiently, and in a timely manner to meet jobsite and company schedules. Make friendships that last lifetimes. Must have a DOT medical card or be able to obtain a DOT medical card within 1 week of employment. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. You will be responsible for meeting with customers, diagnosing their problems, providing solutions, and communicating with the Service Manager. Qualifications Safety and job training will be provided. 1-2 years of experience is preferred for this position, but not mandatory. Must be familiar with and know how to operate hand and power tools. Mechanical and electrical knowledge is a must. Canidate for this position would be a great problem solver and have troubleshooting skills. Must be punctual and willing to learn.
