Dishwasher Position Summary Dishwashers are responsible for cleaning all prep equipment, silverware, glassware and dishes according to sanitation requirements. The ideal candidate will have a very strong work ethic. Responsibilities Keep the dish pit organized. Assist the kitchen in keeping the line and prep areas organized and clean. Maintain pace in the job function critical to turning tables; a strong work ethic is required. Operate dishwasher. Look out for and report repair needs. Wash glassware by hand when necessary. Empty and clean trash and recycling bins. Requirements Strong work ethic is key to success. Professional appearance, positive attitude. Work well in a team environment. Dependable, reliable means of transportation. Reliable and flexible with work schedule – weekends, holidays. Able to take direction; needs multi‑tasking and organizational skills.
