Job Description Fluent is a vertically integrated cultivator, processor, formulator, and retailer of premium cannabis products operating in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Texas as Fluent Cannabis. Role Summary As a Key Holder, you may be the first point of contact for customers when they enter the store. You help create energy and excitement around Fluent products, providing solutions and knowledge so patients can safely use our products. Working with the store team, you match doctors’ recommendations with the right products and turn visitors into loyal customers. Key Responsibilities Completes opening and closing responsibilities accurately and efficiently, ensuring cash handling standards are met and company funds are secured. Delivers great customer experiences and engages with patients in a personal, enthusiastic manner. Opens or closes the store, conducts daily inventory, receives deliveries, and locks or unlocks the dispensary. Activates or deactivates alarms as necessary. Conducts batch inventory count. Distributes and assigns cash drawers. Uses available resources efficiently to assess customers’ health conditions and needs. Escalates unresolved issues to the appropriate supervisor. Assists with deliveries as applicable. Records details of each customer interaction and any actions taken. Follows up on customer issues requiring additional research. Maintains a clean and organized dispensary for patients. Contributes to a positive and inclusive work environment. Maintains adequate product knowledge and understands the benefits of medical cannabis. Communicates with the Director of Retail Operations, general manager, and/or assistant general manager regarding the status of issues. Qualifications / Experience At least 2 years of customer service experience. At least 2 years of sales experience. Working knowledge of MS Office. Experience as a Fluent Curator. Skills / Interests Must be a multitasker, capable of handling several requests simultaneously without losing focus. Organization, initiative, good communication skills, proactive problem‑solving, time management, discretion, and confidentiality are essential attributes. Ability to build good relationships through frequent contact with internal and external people, either face to face, by telephone, or by email. Teamwork—collaborating with others to improve overall standards of work and service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and take a proactive approach to assignments. Demonstrates a positive, problem‑solving attitude during all work hours. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. Standard office equipment (computers, phones, printers, filing cabinets, fax machines) is routinely used. Physical Demands Must regularly speak and hear, stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, and use iPad/laptop/desktop for extended periods. The employee may occasionally lift or move moderate weights (typically less than 25 pounds). Regular, predictable attendance is essential. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work. Required Education and Experience One or more years of sales experience. Preferred Education and Experience Dispensary‑related experience. Additional Requirements Per state law, must be at least 21 years of age. Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check.
