Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and compassionate Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging specialists dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. You will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to conduct vital diagnostic procedures, collaborate seamlessly with a dedicated team of healthcare providers, and help bring reassurance to patients with timely and precise imaging.

Responsibilities Include:

• Executing a range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Prioritizing patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy and understanding.
• Working in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operatively managing and maintaining imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues.
• Meticulously documenting procedures while updating patient records within the electronic medical system.
• Remaining up-to-date with innovations in ultrasound imaging techniques and professional best practices.

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a comparable field.
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program.

License and Certification Requirements

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a similar certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
