John A. Stassi Community Care Center , is the Greater New Orleans area's newest skilled nursing & rehabilitation center, and we are looking to grow our team. Designed for person-centered care, John A. Stassi Community Care Center is the first of its kind in the area and provides care in an atmosphere that promotes resident choice and creates a more home-like setting. We're seeking the right candidate for the position of Food Service Staff (PRN) . In this vital role, you'll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.


What You Bring to the Table:

Essential Qualifications:

• Responsible for the completion of a variety of tasks relating to the preparation, service, and cleanup of food to residents.
• Responsible for creating a clean and exceptional dining experience for our guests.
• Responsible for sanitation and upkeep of the kitchen areas.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

• Ability to follow all policy, procedures and service standards.
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and safely with all service and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks under pressure while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Other Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
• Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, stretch and reach for extended periods of time.
• 6 months dietary services / cooking experience preferred.
