Lead Software Engineer - Golang

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, plus 5+ years of applied experience.
• We expect hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We need advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Golang.
• We are looking for demonstrated experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools, including coding, code review, test acceleration, and troubleshooting, with a focus on validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• We require a strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations.
• We expect proficiency across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• We need advanced understanding of agile practices such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• We require in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
• We are seeking practical cloud-native experience.
• Preferred: strong experience with Envoy and other web ingress technologies.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with OIDC, OAUTH2, and authentication and authorization concepts.

• We execute creative software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting, and we think beyond routine approaches to solve technical problems.
• We develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• We drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes, while maintaining validation standards and promoting reusable patterns.
• We apply knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle tools, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value delivered by automation.
• We identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of our software applications and systems.
• We lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical credentials, and fit within our systems and information architecture.
