Telehealth Office Staff - DAY SHIFT

We are seeking a highly organized and dependable professional to support our virtual care program. The ideal candidate for Telehealth Office Staff is detail-oriented, a strong communicator, tech-savvy, and committed to delivering excellent patient support in a virtual environment for the day shift.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule patient appointments and referrals to other providers
• Coordinate virtual check-in/check-out processes for telehealth appointments
• Manage provider calendars for telehealth visits
• Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide general support
• Perform patient registration, verify demographics, and update electronic health records (EHR)
• Verify insurance eligibility and assist with prior authorizations when needed
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all time
• Troubleshoot basic patient issues related to accessing telehealth platforms
• Communicate with providers, clinical staff, and patients to ensure smooth workflow
• Assist providers as requested
• Maintain established department policies.
• Maintain neat, clean, and professional work area
• Assist in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Prior experience working in a healthcare or medical office preferred.
• Skills necessary: keyboarding, oral and written communication, familiarity with virtual meeting platforms

Schedule Requirements:

This position is 100% in-person work at Russell Family Medical Center and will be working from the hours of 8 A.M. to 8 P.M. three days per week, including holidays and weekends.

Work schedules are set at the discretion of CFMC and may be adjusted at any time based on the operational needs of the organization.
