Title: Data Analyst

Location: Mason, OH

Work Arrangement: Training will be 100% onsite; after training working 1 day per week on site (flexible)

Work Hours: Regular business hours, 8 hours/day, starting between 8:00–9:00 AM

Assignment Length: 3-4 months, with potential for a extension

Position Overview

• We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the Business Configuration team, responsible for healthcare product configuration and benefit plan setup.
• This role requires expertise in configuring products within the Facets system and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of configuration requests.
• The ideal candidate will have experience working with core claims administration systems, writing SQL queries, analyzing data, and troubleshooting configuration issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure various healthcare products using both the Product Key Sheet method and manual configuration.
• Ensure product configuration accuracy using tools for manual and automated product creation.
• Write SQL queries and extract data from databases to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve configuration issues.
• Independently investigate and resolve product configuration questions and issues submitted to the production team.
• Collaborate with implementation managers, account managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and accurate configuration processes.
• Manage production queues and work inventory while meeting established quality standards and turnaround times.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate issues and implement resolutions.
• Identify and recommend process and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
• Support management with training activities, special projects, issue resolution, and configuration-related subject matter expertise.

Basic Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience working with a core claims administration system.
• At least 2 years of experience writing SQL queries and exporting data from database tables into Excel for analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple complex assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations.
• Understanding of claims adjudication processes, including member and provider reimbursements.
• Experience with the Facets platform, particularly Claims, Provider, Network, and Product/Benefit Configuration.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs.
