Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in New York, NY, for a Client Fit/Quality Specialist and Atelier Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of client satisfaction by ensuring impeccable garment fit and quality. Responsibilities include facilitating client fittings, collaborating with the atelier team for garment alterations, overseeing production schedules, and ensuring timely delivery. The Client Fit & Quality Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our remote e‑commerce and local clients enjoy a seamless, outstanding experience. Key Responsibilities Conduct virtual and in‑person fittings. Sourcing and training local tailors. Collaborating closely with internal teams to enhance overall service quality. Assist clients with exchanges, styling guidance, or fit‑related queries to ensure satisfaction with bespoke garments. Travel to client locations to perform in‑person fittings and consultations. Coordinate alterations in ateliers: travel to Safiyaa showroom locations and client locations; ensure alterations are filtered through machinists according to strengths. Work closely with the atelier assistant to ensure alterations are completed on time. Quality‑control garments and ensure alterations are done correctly according to the notes. Act as a point of contact between clients, ateliers, made‑to‑measure teams, and sales teams to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of any fit or alteration issues. Facilitate the flow of client feedback to continuously improve products and service offerings. Suggest initiatives to refine customisation standards based on real‑time findings, ensuring every piece meets luxury quality standards. Work with QA to update customization and made‑to‑measure guidelines to ensure consistency across all client interactions. Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions, measurement data, feedback, and fitting sessions. Generate regular reports to monitor client satisfaction, quality improvements, and training outcomes using insights to drive further improvements. Qualifications At least 3 years of experience within production, alteration, or garment technology. Proven experience in a client‑facing role, preferably within luxury fashion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients, local partners, and internal teams. Strong problem‑solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, especially regarding fit and quality standards. Willingness and ability to travel to client locations and service centres as required. Experience in sourcing or training external service partners (e.g., tailors) and leading quality improvement initiatives is highly desirable. Familiarity with CRM systems and quality management tools is an advantage. Preferred Skills Background in training or managing teams, particularly in fashion, tailoring, or quality control. A proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges. A passion for luxury fashion with an eye for detail in tailoring, fit, and quality standards.
