Shift option #1: Weekdays 3pm-11pm rotating Weekends 8am-8pm
Shift option #2: Weekdays 11pm-7am rotating Weekends 8am-8pm
Shift option #3: Weekdays 12am-8am rotating Weekends 8am-8pm
Shift option #4: Weekdays 8am-4pm rotating Weekends 8am-8pm
As a Direct Support Professional, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Documenting and completing MAR
- Light housework to keep a safe and clean environment
- Supporting individuals in community integration activities and promoting participation in social events.
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect the privacy and confidentiality of clients’ information.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with people with disabilities in home health or community care settings.
- Previous experience in group home environments is highly desirable.
