This department supports all operations at PC Construction and provides an excellent environment to understand our company and the construction industry.The Cost Engineer position provides the perfect opportunity for an ambitious candidate to expand their understanding of, and expertise in, construction contracting, budgeting, forecasting and change management. In this role you will also collaborate with accounting and deepen your understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and financial forecasting.The right candidate will have a bachelor's degree, along with three to five years' experience successfully managing administrative activities on a construction project and a strong interest/understanding of construction contracting, budgeting, forecasting and change management.Key Responsibilities:Support and train project teams in all job cost systems.Contracts and Change ManagementProject Budgets and Cost ManagementMonthly Project Forecasting (estimate to complete)Job BillingSubcontracts and Purchase OrdersSystems Improvement - monitor and continuously improve cost management processes and proceduresDevelop and deliver training to support the company's best practices and procedures100% EMPLOYEE OWNEDPC Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and respects the importance of a diverse and inclusive workforce.PC Construction offers general contracting, construction management and design-build services to private and public clients across the country.
